Wooda Lakes

Wooda Lakes is set in 22 acres of south facing Devon countryside, approx 8 miles from the Cornish coast and town of Bude.

There are currently 11 timber holiday lodges on site, of which 3 are VIP units with hot tubs for 2017. WiFi is available in all lodges. The site is dog-friendly, with dogs allowed in 7 of the lodges (not in the VIP lodges or the pet-free lodge). The site is open all year.

3 of the lodges are 4 berth - double and twin room. 1 of which is a VIP lodge with hot tub.

8 of the lodges are 6 berth - double room, twin room and sofa bed in the lounge. 2 of which are VIP lodges with hot tub. 1 additional lodge is also pet-free.

The lodges have a fitted kitchen, bathroom, lounge with TV. All lodges have large decking areas to enjoy the south or west facing views. Cots and highchairs can be provided. Bed linen is provided, but you will need to bring towels.

On site there are 5 fishing lakes, stocked with a mix of carp and other coarse species. The carp grow to 20lb in weight. Day permits are available for non-residents on 4 of the 5 lakes.

The Cornish surfing beaches at Bude and Widemouth Bay are about 20/25 minutes away by car. Bude also has two major supermarkets, banks and many eateries.

The nearest town is Holsworthy, approx 6 miles away, which has all four major banks, a Waitrose, Co-op and a selection of local shops.

For those that run or wish to participate in watersports, Tamar Lakes are 3 miles away. The local free-to-enter ParkRun is held at the Upper Tamar lake every Saturday morning at 9am.
