The Bookhouse

The Bookhouse is set on 2 storeys. Downstairs is a large, cosy living room with an open fire, plenty of books and DVDs as well as a large conservatory. Upstairs is the bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a king-size futon. There's also a quirky kitchenette as well as further kitchen equipment in the conservatory. Access to the extensive gardens, overlooking the Black Mountains and Mynydd Llangorse, is included...have your breakfast under the maple tree! The lane which runs past The Bookhouse takes you up into the foothills of Pen y Fan. The village of Llanfrynach has a great pub, The Swan, just a 5 minute walk away. Talybont on Usk, with 4 further fine pubs, is 3 miles away (walk along the canal if you fancy it) and Brecon is also 3 miles in the opposite direction.
