Glide majestically around King Edward I's impressive moat while sitting back and experiencing Leeds castle from a whole new perspective. From the magnificent Gloriette, that seems to rise mythically from the water and where for 300 years the Kings and Queens of England stayed and frolicked, to the brilliantly designed fortified mill and barbican of Edward III. You will be regaled by tales about the witches imprisoned there, the many deaths and ghost and the times the castle was besieged. This tour is also the only opportunity to see a chamber underneath the castle which was used exclusively by the royalty of England's bygone days. This tour will astound and amaze and will shed new light on the glorious history of one of Britain's most beautiful castles.

Also available are romantic tours with a punt decorated with flowers, candles and candlesticks, garlands and sheepskin rugs. Our tours are weather dependent but we aim to open 10.30 to 17.30 every day between spring and late summer.
