Paellas d'Olney

The Paella originates from the region of Valencia in Spain from the mid-19th century. The recipe was a poor man's dish, made with rice from his land, meat from his farm and spices such as saffron bought over by the Arabs as far back as the 13th Century.
Made in a flat, round, enamel pan, and cooked on an open flame, the rice would cook evenly whilst absorbing the flavours of its surrounding ingredients creating a simple yet delicious meal that would last days.

Juan brings you the traditional Paella Valenciana using locally sourced meats and vegetables along with imported spices from Spain.

Choose from Valencian (Chicken and veg) Vegetarian, Marisco (Sea food) and Arroz Negro (Black rice Paella) and then follow these 3 steps:
Order your Paella over the phone (please give 1.5 hours notice to have your Paella prepared in time)
Once the Paella is ready, come and collect your paella and complimentary traditional wooden spoons
Leave a deposit for the pan and return within 2 days to get your deposit back

Minimum 4 people

Enjoy your paella the traditional way, from the pan (this way it keeps warm right until you get to the centre) with you friends and family!
