I am also a professional Electrician with the tools to do micro-soldering. I have been interested in electronics for around 30 years. I have also been designing and studding electronics has a hobby. I started buying broken electronics mainly Macbook pros and refurbishing and selling. After some time and experience i decided to start fixing other peoples stuff. Why mainly Apple Products you may ask? Well the simple answer is, Apple only has a handful of products which makes it easy for me to locate the required documents needed to help with the fix. With PC based systems, there are around 100 different manufacturers, this can be very difficult to find schematics and board view files. Unless its very obvious what the fault is on a PC, it can take weeks to locate a fault especially if its a blown 0201 resistor (0.5x0.3mm).
