GIFTS - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Personalised items - all items are made to order therefore payment is required up front. A mock up will be emailed to you/your requirements agreed and the item will be made. Unless there is an error on our behalf refunds are not applicable.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions explain the rights you as a customer are entitled to. Please read these very carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and our Terms and Conditions do not affect these in any way. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions with Dragonfly Personalised Designs.

By placing an order you accept our terms and conditions however, your statutory rights are not affected.
We respect the privacy of our customers an no information will be shared with other companies or 3rd parties.

PRICES & DELIVERY
We reserve to alter our price list at anytime without prior notice.

When you place an order (the order is not confirmed), the total price payable will be provided. All prices shown are exclusive of delivery charge (unless stated) – the delivery charge applied covers the cost of postage aswell as packaging and an element of time (for packaging and taking to the post office). All items will be posted using a signed for service –we do not post using unsigned for services.
Delivery prices quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland(BT), Isle of Man(IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles(PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles(HS, ZE) may incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays. ALL items will be sent recorded 1st class postage through Royal Mail, 2nd class recorded and Next Day services are available at extra cost to the customer.

I will only deliver to the address on the Paypal account.

Once the items have been posted they are out of my control. I am not responsible for delivery timescales from the postal provider. If an item does not get delivered I will file a claim with the company and may require you to fill in a form (if the postal provider requests). Once received at your door I am no longer responsible for the item(s)

If the item(s) arrive in a damaged condition or there is a shortage it is your responsibility to inform us within 14 days from delivery and include photographic evidence to us of the packaging and item(s)

If wrong items have been sent it is your responsibility to inform us within 14 days from delivery.

PAYMENT
I accept Paypal (so major credit cards via paypal). Your goods will only be made once paypal payment has been authorised in full. I will ONLY post to the address linked with the Paypal account – I will not ship to any other address. Paypal fees will be in addition to prices quoted.

GOODS
Photos may be stock or examples of previously sold items, they may not be the actual item(s) you will receive unless stated.
All images, descriptions and information are as accurate a description of the goods that are possible.
All items are handmade and therefore their maybe slight imperfections, quirks in the items – this all makes for a quirky handmade item.
Incorrect information or payment difference’s can delay your order.
All items are subject to availability. If an item is no longer available I will cancel and refund your order or offer an alternative.
Personalised items cannot be returned or refunded these are made to your specification on an individual order basis.

PROCESSING TIME
All items are handmade by use therefore please allow 7 days minimum...we have an order book and undertake orders in a queuing system by payment date.

ERRORS
If a price is listed with a typographical error I reserve the right to change this price, I am not at liberty to sell the item at the price. If an item has been purchased I will refund the payment in full back to the account where payment was made.
For handmade items it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure your spelling /use of words is correct. I will hand stamp the items as they are written. If I notice an obvious (potential) mistake I will enquire but I am not responsible if you have written the information incorrectly.
If I have made an error / mistake I will replace the item free of charge or replace. If the error /mistake is on your side (as the customer) and I have followed instructions then I am not liable to make a refund.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
You can cancel your order as long as I haven't started making the item. Once work has commenced and you cancel your order there is a no refund policy. If I have had to purchase special items for your order and you cancel I reserve the right to deduct the amount for the special items from the total paid prior to refunding the remainder amount.
If you are not happy with your item you can return it to me (at your expense) for a refund. The refund will be made minus the initial postage costs unless the item is personalised and then we do not accept returns at all. All items must be returned in a saleable condition with any packaging or gifts that were sent with the item. If the item is deemed not saleable, no refund will be made.
If you wish to return items please notify me within 14 days of delivery and your cancellation will be confirmed, if you contact me after 14 day of delivery then your cancellation rights are waived.
CARE FOR YOUR ITEMS
We will send out relevant care instructions with certain items. Please follow these instructions to ensure longevity of the item.

SALES & PROMOTIONS
All sales and promotions are valid only during the stated promotional time period. Sale offers cannot be applied to previous purchase, nor can they be combined with other offers. Only one coupon code or offer can be used at a time. Sale offers cannot be applied to an item after is has gone out of stock. Any promotional offers may be modified or terminated at any time without notice.
TERMS OF USE OF PHOTOS
All photographs are the property of Dragonfly Personalised Designs and are under copyright protection. Legal action may/will be pursued in the event of copyright infringement or if any of the mentioned terms and conditions are broken.

The buyer must not claim any items in the photograph or actual photograph as their own. Photographs must not be edited in any way, unless permission is sought from us first.

PLEASE NOTE: Non-UK buyers please note that all transactions made through facebook & Etsy store including purchases of all listings and custom orders shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK Law. The courts of the UK will have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising under or in connection with any transaction from Dragonfly Personalised Designs.
