Hi there! My name's Jeff and I'm a Bristol-based drummer for hire - 1-2-1 / group tuition, live and studio performance.

All ages and abilities are welcome - whether you've just picked up a pair of sticks for the first time or you're an experienced drummer looking for a fresh approach to your playing, I cater to all skill levels and playing styles to suit your needs.

My lessons will cover all aspects of your playing and are tailored to suit each student's individual needs and requirements. Such things can include:

Independence
Stick control / foot control - Applied Technique
Rudiments
Timing and feel
Fills
Styles and interpretation
Reading and notes for performance
Rockschool & Trinity grades

Half hour, 1 hour, or 2 hour slots are available, and discounts are provided for block bookings. My rates are very reasonable and I always have each one planned in advance so that you can achieve the most out of your session.

Lessons take place mainly in my studio room near Cabot Circus but I am willing to travel to student homes as long as you have the correct equipment to facilitate the lessons (travel costs a little extra).

£15 for 30 minutes
£25 for 60 minutes
£90 for 4 x 60 minute slots (block booking discount)
£200 for 10 x 60 minute slots (block booking discount)

Finally, a little bit of information about myself.

My name is Jeff and I have over 11 years experience as a private music tutor. I have over 14 years live and studio experience, having performed with numerous bands and played on several recordings. I am also currently involved in a few different projects and I am happy to give you advice and information based on my own experiences with the industry.

CRB/DBS checked with current certification.

I have a bachelors degree in music performance and production from the London Centre of Contemporary Music and can teach grades as well as technique, styles & rudiments.
