Crawfords Food Services Limited supplies Fresh Fruit , Vegetables & Salads along with prepared fruits and vegetables and ambient produce on a wholesale basis. Dairy has also now been added.
We know all about the challenges catering outlets and grocers face having been supplying this trade since 1989. Prior to this we owned and ran several fruit & vegetable shops/outlets. We will do our absolute best to provide you with the produce you order or at least an acceptable alternative. Lets face it, you can't cook a credit note! A practice we are all too familiar with. Orders are placed using our 24 hour answerphone service at a time to suit you. If you have a specific query and need to talk to a human being, you can use the mobile number provided up to 9pm. You can place your order any time up to 03.00am for same day delivery (Mon-Sat). i.e you require an order on Monday, you can place your order up to 03.00am Monday morning. This is with the exception of prepared fruits and vegetables and non stock items which ideally should be ordered by 12.00 noon the day before you need them. Dairy should be ordered by 9pm. At Crawfords we start early so you can have your produce early enabling you and your staff to prep up etc in time to welcome your customers. We are able to offer a cash on delivery option for customers keen to keep a daily track of costs and also a monthly account. And finally we want to work with you and build a long term relationship with you. Therefore, if you feel you have a complaint about something or feel we have not provided you with our usual high standard, then please let us know. We can't help if we don't know you have an issue. All we ask in return is that if you like what we offer, you recommend us.
We are based in Poole, Dorset. Please be aware that whilst we offer a daily delivery service, this may not apply to very remote or to areas on the Dorset borders. Please check if this applies to you.
