COMMOTION has always been an outward looking community festival- we just love to share what we do! 2011 was going to be a year of rest and planning whilst we sought new sponsorship. But how could we resist when Alex James and Big Wheel asked us to do the FRIDAY at his HARVEST Festival 9th-11th September? Music and Food what a great idea- we at COMMOTION have always appreciated the finer things in life and can never resist a bit of cheese...
Bit smaller scale for us but within a grand project; same great bands, same great vibe, a perfectly formed evening of fantastic music kicked off by the best of local youth, welcoming ex-Supergrass CHARLY COOMBES and THE NEW BREED, urban legends WESTBOURNE CIRCUS, our old friends THE RELUCTANT HEROES and the ever lovely THE ANYDAYS. Plus with great excitement we are proud to announce THE CHRISTIANS headlining- rounding off the perfect start to HARVEST with one of their many great hits 'Harvest for the World... you'll be humming the tunes well into the apple picking and fireworks....
