Berwick Museum and Art Gallery is situated within the Clock Block at Berwick Barracks. The building was designed by the architect Nicholas Hawksmoor and completed in 1721 - the first purpose built army barracks since Roman times.

An admission charge is payable to enter the Barracks which are operated by English Heritage, but during your visit you will also be able to enjoy The 'By Beat of Drum' exhibition and The King's Own Scottish Borderers Museum as well as the Berwick Museum and Art Gallery (operated by Woodhorn Charitable Trust).

Opening times:
1st April - 30th September: Wednesday – Saturday 1100 – 1700, Sunday 1100-1600

Also daily 7th - 24th April and 24th july - 3rd September.

Special arrangements can be made for visits at other times.

Admission: Adults £4.90, Children £2.90, Concessions £4.40, Family Ticket (2+3) £12.70. English Heritage members and Friends of the Museum and Archives free. (Please check EH)
