Reflexology states that each area of the body, each organ and system has a corresponding reflex zone located on the hands and feet. In my practice I work on the feet. Via special finger/thumb manipulations of these zones energy channels can be unblocked, stimulated or calmed depending on the symptoms displayed by the patient. The whole aim is to stimulate the body to heal itself, physically and emotionally. And you thought Reflexology was just a foot massage.
I have attended workshops which include Advanced Techniques, Hormone Rebalance, Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone Reflexology and Preconception and Fertility.
I am also qualified in Indian Head Massage which is a deeply calming and relaxing treatment, helping to relieve stress and tension. The focus areas are on the head, face, shoulders, upper back, neck and upper arms. Bliss.
I am also newly qualified in Kensa Vatki Foot Massage which complements Reflexology extremely well but is also super relaxing on it's own.
