Parent(s) of child(ren) will be able to have their Travel reimbursed for train, bus and car park with valid ticket (no taxi refunds). Friends and extended family members will not be reimbursed as funds are limited.

For parents and expecting parents under the age of 23 in the local area.. Why not come along and join us for lunch and a hot chocolate and meet the team and other Young Parents? Its free too!

What support do we provide at YPG?
- Professional support in a relaxed environment—the weekly drop-in is staffed by a multi professional team
- Outreach Support; including home visits, phone calls (In conjunction with their local Children’s Centre)
- Weekly contact by text and Facebook
- Access to up to date information and advice on a wide range of issues
- Effective signposting to specialist support from a wide range of professionals

Who runs YPG?
Nicola has over 10 years experience working with children and parents and has worked with Sythwood for over 4 years; developing partnerships with local agencies and managing children's centre services. Nicola has a postgraduate diploma in early years and recently has trained at Pen Green and the Anna Freud Centre.

Mel has been at Sythwood for 3 years and has recently returned from Maternity Leave. She has worked in Children’s Centres for 10 years with a background of experience in Early Years, Family Support and Special Educational Needs. Mel has a Foundation Degree in Early Years and is trained to deliver Parenting Puzzle, HENRY, Baby Massage and more.

Kai Keers has a BA(HONS) Humanities degree and is the Horsell Village Children's Centre Leader. She has worked with children for over 12 years and supported families for 6 years

Sarah Powell - Family Support worker. NVQ level 3 teaching assistant and Level 3 NVQ/ Diploma in child care and education. Sarah has worked in education for children and young people with autism for 13 years as well as supporting families at home.
