PROPOSAL: Interaction and exercise of dogs, for one hour.

A one hour walk where it will be exercised
and interact/play with other dogs.
This will also benefit the dogs in having human contact,
inter action and play to break up their day.

Your ‘Best Friend’ will be taken to one of varied walks around the area. To enjoy exercise and nature at it’s best. We acknowledge all dogs have their own character, which we will respond to, building up a trust and friendship to suit and bring enjoyment in the time spent with us.

Full supervision will be given at all times, and only with your consent, freedom to be off lead when comfortable with us as we walk.
We will always take the dog’s interest, safety and comfort at heart, so weather will determine whether it will be a cool walk in the shade of a wooded area or a run along the beach on cooler days….
We are fully insured and registered as a business and can provide a full police check.
All house keys will be kept on our person or locked away in a secure locked safety box.

PET SITTING

We all have the dilemma, of ‘what about the dog’, when you have to attend a late meeting, or you have an invite to an all day/evening Wedding, or maybe a social outing or birthday party.
With just a quick call we can look after your dog in it’s own home, where it will be in it’s own surroundings with it’s own toys. We can break up the absence, of their beloved owners with play, walks, feeding and interaction within it’s own environment.
We are happy to sit with your pet giving it toilet breaks and feeding. We could also take your furry ‘family’ member for a one-to-one walk.
We know how it can be when the clock ticks on and you start to worry about your beloved pet, having been left on it’s own.
Let us give you peace of mind and allow you to continue your day,
knowing that your ‘best friend’ is well cared for. All we request is a minimum
of 2 hours notice.

Off the A766 just outside Edinburgh near the town of Penicuik. Enter through the Tympany Gates and there's a car park. Note - access to the house is by foot.

VOGRIE COUNTRY PARK

Vogrie Country Park in Scotland is managed by Midlothian Council. It consists of a Woodland Estate surrounding the Victorian Vogrie House. It is located around 12 miles from Edinburgh between Pathhead and Gorebridge.

We at Yappi Walks believe in only walking 5 dogs in any one walking session. Owning 5 dogs of our own has given us valuable insight into making sure that when your dog walks with us, it will get the attention and play it needs to give it a happy experience with us.

We at Yappi Walks will only ever transport 5 dogs at any one time as we believe your pet should travel in comfort and safety whilst he/she is in our care.
We want your pet to have a great experience and a happy time with us and we at Yappi Walks will endeavour to make that happen in a safe and comfortable environment that your pet deserves.

About Paul And Amanda.

Amanda and Paul have always had animals their lives. Paul has had dogs, cats, hamsters etc,etc, the list is endless, since the age of 4. Amanda is also very experienced with dogs. Dogs are their first love. At the moment, Paul and Amanda share seven, three lurchers, two greyhounds and two Yorkies. The three lurchers are rescue dogs, as are the greyhounds, and the two yorkies hail from Portugal where they were obtained when only three weeks old when they both lived there.
Paul has a strong interest in animal behaviour and at the moment he is doing a three year course in animal behaviour. He is also doing a one year course on animal injury and treatment. Amanda and Paul are also trained in animal first aid.
Paul and Amanda also enjoy fostering dogs. They have fostered ex-racing greyhounds from organisations such as SGS, GAL, RGT and others. It gives them great pleasure in helping a hound move on to a forever home. They both involve themselves in " doggy issues " on a political level and take a keen interest in all aspects of the " dog " world.

Prices range from £7.00 - £15.00 per walk depending on location.
Boarding £22 per night.
