It has four buildings as part of its site, which include a library and learning resource centre, canteen, sports facilities and classrooms. The college offers a variety of Level 2 and Level 3 courses, including A-Levels and BTEC qualifications.Notable Incidents25 students studying Advanced Vocational Certificates in Education (AVCEs) at the college were sent the wrong exam results on six separate occasions by examination board Edexcel. The students were supposed to have received their results in August 2001, but by March 2002 had still yet to receive the correct results. The issue received national media attention. In April 2002, the college revealed that it would refuse to allow its students to watch television broadcasts of the funeral of the Queen Mother, despite Government guidance advising that headteachers mark the event in some way. Former Principal Martin Ward had suggested that the students would regard the event as 'odd and medieval'In January 2016, students were sent home following threats to staff and pupils in an anonymous e-mail. Humberside Police were called to the college, which closed as a precautionary measure. Police believed that it was part of a number of hoaxes sent to various schools and colleges worldwide.
