Woodrow High House - London Youth

Set in a 24 acre woodland site, in a 17th century manor house, on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, near Amersham, Woodrow High House creates memorable experiences for more than 7000 young people every year.

We provide outdoor and indoor activities for residential visits and day courses – typically for primary and secondary schools during the week and youth groups at weekends. We teach over 800 children to swim every term and offer school holiday day camps.

Our visitors range from local schools, youth clubs, charities, faith groups, scouts, guides, cubs and brownies to Duke of Edinburgh groups and campers.

Our site is fully accessible and we work with many young people with special needs.

Alongside the house, we have a Sports Hall, Astroturf, Swimming Pool and meeting rooms for use by our visitors along with camping facilities.

You can choose how Woodrow will work best for your group. We can plan a bespoke outdoor activity programme with you or you can run your own courses for training purposes, drama and dance or sports development and combine them with some of our activities.
