Wimborne 10 Mile Road Race

This is a proper 10 mile road race organised by Wimborne AC in conjunction with local helpers and Shapwick village on a course measured & certified by England Athletics. Held annually on the third Sunday in November starting at 10.30 am and limited to 500 runners, the race is usually over subscribed and interested runners should enter early to avoid disappointment.
Full details of the forthcoming race can be found on the website. Race concludes with a memento to all runners and free tea and cake (homemade of course!)
A sizeable donation is made to a charity voted for by each year by club members as a result of money raised after all race costs have been calculated.
