Wiltshire Music Centre Young Producers

The Young Producers scheme offers young people the opportunity to take the lead in designing, developing and delivering their own programme at the Wiltshire Music Centre.

The aim of the programme is to engage more young people in high quality music and arts programming, offering experience in many different aspects of concert promotion and management, including artist/agent liaison, marketing, fundraising as well as opportunities in video editing, sound engineering and music journalism.

The scheme was established in 2014, and meets monthly at Wiltshire music Centre. The programme offers professional mentoring (from Phil Day, BA15 Management and Annie Menter, Womad Foundation/Real World Studios), coaching from WMC staff and behind the scenes experiences and training in a busy concert venue.
