Wild Thyme Outdoor Education & Forest School

Wild Thyme Forest School offers rural crafts, nature awareness and forest school activities, based on two sites (an organic, biodynamic farm and an ancient woodland) near Radstock in North East Somerset. Running three days a week during term time for home educated children. We also run a variety of holiday themed forest school sessions throughout the holidays, including day trips & archaeology. Run by experienced forest school leaders, outdoor enthusiasts & craftspeople, with a multitude of skills to offer children.

Forest School enables children to experience and connect with nature in a deep and meaningful way. Initially, through getting to know the landscape and becoming comfortable in the outdoors, sessions build up to the children learning more about nature and gaining skills such as making fires and shelters.

Forest school is about being creative and working together as a team. Its about having fun and learning within a safely held space.
