More about Wight Trash

Wight Trash is a skateboard company based on the Isle of Wight. Started (officially) in 2004, 'Wight Trash' was actually created a long time before that as a phrase, my friends and I would call each other.
Logo T-shirts were made first, and sold to friends and family, from then I created hoodies and skateboards too.
I am constantly inspired by skateboarding, the creativity and imagination and the people. This along with the little island where I live, is the influence to many of the designs and the stories behind the products.
Quality is important, with everything produced in the UK, and where possible local to the island. We are a serious business but don't take ourselves too seriously!
We have a rag tag kickass team of misfits using and testing out all this good stuff. The team comprises of friends both old and new based around the Uk and further afield. They are skating hard, being freakish, and generally keeping the dream alive!

I have been really lucky to have 2 of my skateboarding heroes involved with us as guest riders. First was Alex Moul and then Kris Markovich. There are hopes to add to this in 2015 with another one of my all time biggest influences throughout the 80's and early 90's, so stay posted for more news on that.

Over the 10 years I have been lucky to be able to do what I love. We have held a number of events, assisted with developing and continuing to improve the skate provisions on the island, and start up a skate school.
2014 saw the opening of Wight Trash World, my own skate shop. A hub for the island skating community, as well as the place to get advice, talk skating and buy awesome stuff.
2014 has been a crazy, manic but totally rad year, I'm really excited for the future. We have some bigger events and competitions planned, new deck releases, more clothing designs, the release of the long awaited 'Yeah Wight' DVD, and I look forward to seeing the up and coming skaters doing their thing too.

Thanks for all the support, Highest of 5s to you
