WhyNot In Homecare allows the elderly to enjoy their day to day activities by providing an extremely reliable source of care at home. We provide one-on-one, non-medical assistance for our clients, making them feel more confident and less isolated.

WhyNot In Homecare is committed to provide quality, reliable, ethical and professional services that will enable our clients to remain safe, secure and independent in their own home.

WhyNot In Homecare provides bespoke Care Packages which are designed with the input of both the client and their family following our free of charge in depth assessment. We will then assign a main carer who will provide dedicated one-on-one, non-medical assistance. We always introduce our clients to their carer and will never send in someone they have not met before.

Our services, which include Personal Care, Companionship and Home Help, are flexible and can be arranged for as little as one hour a week to 24 hours a day including holidays and weekends. Our minimum visit time is one hour as we firmly believe that it is essential to spend quality time with our clients to achieve the best outcome. (All care arrangements are subject to availability).

A unique point in our care provision is the total tranparency of our service and sharing information - we believe communication is vital.

We have a dedicated team of professional Carers who are qualified dedicated and loyal. They go 'that extra mile' to ensure their clients have the best possible care and support. Our Carers have to complete an in depth application and interview process and are chosen for their empathy, understanding and ability to deliver highly professional care services to older people. They are all DBS screened, trained, insured and supervised

All references supplied by Carers are taken up and thoroughly checked.We maintain ongoing mandatory training for all our Carers to ensure they are fully up to date in line with registration requirements.

All WhyNot In Homecare Carers wear an ID badge which is complete with their photograph and a unique PIN number. At each and every visit our Carers have to login and logout of our computerised monitoring system using our client's landline telephone number - this is a freephone number so there is no charge to our clients. We utilise this system to not only keep track of time-keeping but also as an essential check on the health and safety of both clients and Carers.

Our clients will be personally introduced to their selected Carer before our service commences - and we conduct regular quality assurance home visits to ensure that Carers are providing the agreed service.

Each of our clients is given a Care Journal which details all aspects of their agreed care package. Within the journal is a daily Activity Report which is completed by each Carer on every visit. This diary of events and activities provides the family with assurance that their relative is being cared for and supported with total committment and diligence.

WhyNot In HomeCare can currently provide home care services in within an approximate 15 mile radius of Knutsford including Altrincham, Alderley Edge, Congleton, Goostrey, Holmes Chapel, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Northwich, Prestbury, Sandbach, Wilmslow, Winsford.
