White Lion Inn Cray

The White Lion Inn Cray, offers tradional hand pulled real ales,
an open fire and traditional pub grub. In fine weather food and
drink can be enjoyed in the beer garden or beside the cascading
Cray Gill which runs past the Inn. Stepping stones across the
Gill lead to open fells and the start of many recognised walks.
The White Lion Inn is open all year, providing comfortable
accomodation in 9 en-suite letting rooms. Pets are welcome at
no extra supplement.
The Inn is ideally situated for those wishing to eplore the Yorkshire
Dales, with Skipton and its castle being only a 30 minute drive to
the south, Aysgarth with its waterfalls are 20 minutes North and the
Wenslydale Creamery 20 minutes to the West. Other local attractions
include, Jervaulx Abbey, Bolton Castle, Bolton Abbey, The Forbidden
Corner and Lightwater Valley theme park.
There are plenty of local activities to be enjoyed, such as caving, rock
climbing, fishing, walking and pony trekking. The Inn is also on the
Tour de France cycle route.
