White Hart Barnes

Situated next to Barnes Bridge, on the banks of the Thames. We're spread over two floors, each with it's own stunning balcony overlooking the river. There is also a gorgeous garden area, aswell as benches along the towpath of the Thames.

The Canon bar offers you a low level island bar with a copper glow of busy bottles and a 360 degree view of the bright contemporary Victorian country room.

The Parade of sparkling chrome Chaplin fonts stand in line providing a vast range of London craft beers from both Meantime and Camden breweries, supported by Young's award winning cask ales. We have selected a range of bottled beers to suit individual tastes from around the world.

With help from our friends at Cockburn and Campbell we have an exceptional wine list from around the world.

Our spirits are chosen for their distinctive qualities that produce the core of a long drink. We use a local distillery in London called Sip smiths who with Fever Tree keep our expert choices second to none.

The Terrace Kitchen is situated on the first floor of the beautifully restored White Hart, Barnes. Unlike downstairs where you can eat some great classic food in a quintessential British pub, the Terrace Kitchen is very much a restaurant in its own right.

Having just finished a complete renovation and with the introduction of an open kitchen, it is the perfect setting for a special dinner with its unbridled views of the Thames and al-fresco balcony for after dinner coffee’s and desserts.

Our Head Chef, Tom Whitaker, who recently made it to the final of the BBC’s Master chef is very passionate about making the kitchen a huge success.

“My menu is based on my passion for British seasonal food, using a mix of modern and classic techniques to create some truly delicious plates. Wild game, day boat fish, seasonal mushrooms and foraged herbs are all part of what you might find on the ever-changing menu. My team pride themselves on using truly different ingredients and processes to offer something full of character and individuality.

Our dedicated front of house team will be there to ensure that your evening goes without a hitch and will be there to help with whatever you may need during your visit.

As part of the offering, we will also be hosting an array of food-orientated events, which will offer you the chance to get some insight into the creative process as well as learn some great new techniques.”
