Whaddon Under Fives Playschool has a child centred approach to early education.

We believe children learn through talk, interaction, exploration, practice and discovery. Children's learning is based on individual needs of each child.

We offer activities stimulated by the ideas, thoughts and feelings communicated by the children.
A free flow between indoors and outside friendly, experienced and well-qualified staff
funded places available, childcare vouchers accepted opportunities for parents to be involved with the management of the playschool.

We take children from 2.5 to rising 5 year olds.

The term after your child turns 3 they are funded by the Government so your place is free.

Open Door policy
Please come in during one of our sessions to see us in action and meet the staff.
When your child starts
You can come and visit us as many times as you like before your child starts, to settle them in – parents must stay for these visits.
Once your child has started we like parents to do what they feel is best for their child, so you can stay for part or all of the session or leave your child straight away.

We do have low ratio’s so places are offered when a place becomes free, the waiting list is based on the child’s date of birth and date of registration. Please contact us if you would like to know anything more about our Admissions Policy.
