Welsh Curry Awards

The Welsh Curry Awards was started to help raise funds for various local & international causes as well as raise the profile for the Welsh curry industry.
I currently run Country Spice Indian Restaurant in Hope, Flintshire.
Back in January 2013, we had our 1st sportsman's evening with guest speaker Kevin Ratcliffe, the night was a success & raised an even £500 for the local primary school.
Since then (currently at December 2013) we have gone on to raise just over £12000 for local playgroups, schools, charities and sponsorships.

I thought to myself, if we can do it why can't other businesses? So I decided to start up a competition to involve other Indian restaurants so we can compete against each other to see who does the best curry, & at the same time raise much needed funding for various causes as well as boost the profile for the many great Indian restaurants in the area!

I am starting in Wrexham & Flintshire and if successful will expand to the whole of Wales.
