Wellworthys Sports and Social Club offers 3 bars. The Main Bar (downstairs) can cater for 200+ people, The Mini Bar (side bar) can cater for 120+ and The View Room Bar (top bar upstairs) can cater for 100 people.

The views from the Club in ALL 3 of the bars are stunning. Amazing views over to Portland Harbour can be seen from the patio area at the back of the main bar.

Wellworthys have a full licence for Wedding Ceremonies offering a perfect backdrop for your photos across the harbour.

Our in-house Wedding Team are there to offer advice and a highly professional service to design and create an interior décor to suit your every desire. Contact us to arrange a meeting with our Wedding Co-ordinator to arrange the perfect day.

We cater for all celebrations and gatherings such as birthdays, anniversaries, wakes, christenings, charity fundraisers, retirement parties, office parties and more!

Do you need help in organising the event/celebration? Some ideas to fit the theme, or help to create the interior décor? Then speak to our Events Co-Ordinator who will offer you a highly professional service and ensure the party goes off without a hitch.

Wellworthys has something for all the family. We have a medley of entertainment on offer with discos, entertainment, family days and events. Keep an eye on our page to see the latest entertainment on offer sorted by our Entertainments Committee.

Wellworthys have our own teams in various sports. We have ladies and mens dart teams, skittle teams and bowls. The dart boards and a pool table are available to use for the public.

There is a great outdoor bowls club and an indoor bowls club. Very friendly people on hand to teach you - so come and give it a go!

We have something for everyone. We have a very good over 50s club, a video club and a ladies club with Bingo on a Saturday.

All our events are catered for by our ONLY resident catering team; the fantastic D&S Catering. Denise and Steph are on hand to cater for all events, weddings, Sunday carveries and pub meals.

Denise, Steph and the team offer a range of high standard meals including the following:

* Thursday Carvery and Specials
* Sunday Carvery
* Pub Food with an array of menu choice from scampi to burgers, curry to chilli at great prices.

D&S Catering can cater for all events with hot and cold buffets, finger food and sit down 3 course dinners. Home-made option is available on request.

No matter how large or small, they will cater to your requirements. They can also offer outside catering.

Wellworthys Sports and Social Club have a fantastic group of people all willing to pull together as a team and a FAMILY. You will find this family atmosphere in everything we do and it will continue to help keep the Club a success!
