Welfare at Girton

Ellie Bishop and Ruari Bride are your Welfare Officers.

We hold weekly welfare hours in the JCR office as well as running events throughout term to help relieve some pressure.

Our office time is for anyone to come and discuss absolutely anything that's on your mind, be it problems/queries/worries or if you just fancy a chat. Feel free to contact us at any time, you do not have to wait until the next office hour to get in touch.

It's a completely non-judgemental, confidential and relaxed environment so don't hesitate to come down during the Welfare hours, or let us know (by email) if you'd like to talk to either of us and another time would be better.

The JCR Office is on the same little corridor as the JCR - just knock on the door with frosted windows labelled 'JCR OFFICE.'

Keep checking the Facebook group / your Hermes for updates on events and other Welfare-related matters. We also provide free sexual health supplies (condoms/female condoms/lube/pregnancy tests) and cost price sanitary items so let us know if you need any.
