''If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water'' Loren Eiseley, 1957''
We believe that all children should learn to swim from an early age as possible. So that they can have fun, bond with their parents or carers and - should they ever fall in water - have the best possible chance of surviving.
In a nutshell, we teach water confidence and safety skills to babies and toddlers. However, we're so much more besides.
Our classes are great fun for making new friends, helping to enhance the bonding process, having fun....and seeing the utter thrill of your little one gliding underwater towards you.
In the last three years alone we know our lessons were directly responsible for saving the lives of ten little ones. That makes us very proud.
And we like raising money for other babies. To date, we'ver raised over £750,00 for Tommy's. And we're aiming to raise another £200,00 for them (possibly!) next Summer!
In order to start the course your baby needs to be less than 12 months old although, they can start anytime from birth and generally speaking the sooner the better. Often our toddlers can swim short distances unaided by the age of two years old. Water babies will always consider the individual strengths and abilities of each baby to construct a fun filled programme, preparing your child to join stage 2-3 of the ASA National Teaching Plan for Swimming at the age of four!
We currently hold classes throughout the Tees Valley area in Stockton, Billingham, Middlesbrough, Redcar, Brotton & Hartlepool
The course is broken down into stages of 10 week blocks and you book on to Chapter 1 first.
