Wallsend St Peter's C Of E School

Wallsend St Peter’s C of E Primary school was founded in 1833 and in 2008 celebrated 175 years of providing education to the children of Wallsend.

The school is situated on a site in North Terrace and caters for pupils aged 4 – 11 years in the main school and 3 – 4 years in the Nursery.
The school is a member of the Newcastle Church of England Diocese, strong links are maintained with Church House as well as North Tyneside Council Children, Young People and Learning Directorate. The school has developed as part of the local community it has close links to St Peter’s Church.

Parents are actively encouraged as partners in their child’s education and the school promotes opportunities for the “whole child” in all aspects of its work.

The life of the school is based on Christian principles.
