Our own ‘Victorian’ village in the heart of Royal Deeside, Scotland, Ballater is in the midst of glorious countryside in the Cairngorms National Park, 43 miles (69km) west of Aberdeen & 8 miles (13km) from Balmoral Castle. Ballater’s local attractions include Craigendarroch hill, Loch Muick, Lochnagar and more! Ballater is famous for its royal connections. Many of our shops and businesses display the Royal warrants of the Queen and Prince Charles.
Ballater & Royal Deeside are very much open for business as work begins soon on a new Visitor Centre and Station Square opening late 2017.
