Hypnosis is a state of mind, enhanced by mental and physical relaxation. It enables our subconscious to communicate with our conscious mind. All hypnosis is self hypnosis. A perfect example of this is the day-dreaming state which we all experience or that feeling we get when we stare into space or get lost in our thoughts, these are all a form of trance, very similar to Hypnosis.

Hypnotherapy is a way of accessing the subconscious mind by gently inducing a state of wonderfully deep relaxation. It then becomes possible to elicit positive change through suggestion and guidance.

Who is in control? You are! During Hypnosis you will be fully aware of your surroundings and my voice guiding you. Your subconscious mind will always protect you and will only accept suggestions that are beneficial to you.

What can you expect? You can expect a comfortable and highly confidential service in very pleasant surroundings. After making contact an appointment will be arranged for a free consultation lasting up to an hour. An indication can then be given as to how many sessions may be required, depending on the desired outcome.

Can anyone be hypnotized? Indeed they can! Once you have given permission and your commitment to change, you will respond readily. Many of my clients eagerly look forward to their next session and tell me they feel more relaxed than they have ever felt.

Can hypnotherapy help with anything? Indeed it can! Anyone who is diagnosed with Clinical/Deep depression may benefit first from other forms of therapies and in my capacity as a Holistic Therapist this could be discussed during the consultation.
