Upper Usk Valley

The Upper Usk Valley is part of the Brecon Beacons National Park Rural Alliances. The area comprises the villages of Crai, Defynnog, Pentrebach, Pentrefelin, Sennybridge & Trecastle.
Is is home to the darkest skies in the Brecon Beacons Dark Sky Reserve and its uplands form part of the Fforest Fawr Geopark.
The areas is steeped in history and community spirit, welcoming all to explore and enjoy it's natural surroundings and peaceful habitats. The area includes stunning walking routes, fishing in the Usk Reservoir and a range of accommodation to suit all.
