Floorball, also known as Unihockey, is an indoor team sport which was developed in the 1970s. It is best imagined as ice hockey but without the ice. Floorball is most popular in areas where the sport has developed the longest, such as the Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. The game is played indoors on a gym floor, making it a year-round sport at the amateur and professional levels.

Floorball is a fast-growing sport in the UK, with multiple leagues in operation across the country. Many university teams play floorball, and our club has participated in tournaments in Birmingham and London over the last two years.
