University of Kent IEEE UKI Student Branch Congress 2015

The 4th IEEE UK and Ireland SYPC 2015 is the fourth edition of the Congress. Previously known as the IEEE UK&RI Student Branch Congress, this event attracts, as the name suggests, students and early career professionals from the academia and industry all over the UK and Ireland.

The current edition of the SYPC is being organized by the University of Kent's IEEE Student Branch, and is slaed to be held between Oct'9th - 11th at the University of Kent's Canterbury campus. Canterbury is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the UK. The campus itself sits atop a hill overlooking the town and the historic Canterbury Cathedral.

The theme of this year's SYPC is Bridging the Gap. The aim is explore areas of convergence between the industry and academia, because this is where most of the innovation happens, innovation that is critical to inventing new technologies for a smarter, cleaner, greener and a safer world.
