Ranked eighth for Research Intensity in the most recent Research Exercise Framework (REF), our students work alongside lecturers and tutors who are not just excellent teachers, but world-class researchers actively working at the forefront of their chosen field.

All of our programmes are incredibly flexible, allowing students to tailor their degree around their interests. For the past five years, the School has consistently scored above 90% for student satisfaction on the National Student Survey - reflecting our inspiring teaching, lively and engaging student body and fantastic student support.

The strength of our degrees means that our graduates are highly sought after; the 2012 National Student Survey showed that 96% of our students were in employment or further study shortly after graduation.
