University of Chester Midwifery Society

Our aims are:

To organise study days relevant for all 3 cohorts at the University of Chester, as well as students from other universities, qualified midwives from local trusts and aspiring student midwives.

To use our self-directed-study days to our advantage by organising study days, study skills, revision sessions, conferences, evidence-based learning with engaging speakers (complying with the NMC’s varied teaching/learning requirements), fundraising and social events.

To add to our growing knowledge, skills, and broaden our minds.

To provide additional training and support.

Not only will this society allow us to expand on our knowledge around specific subjects, it will also give us the opportunity to make new friends, unite all 3 cohorts, provide a large support network, share experiences and skills, and promote the University of Chester.
