The UCL Ear Institute aims to lead the world in understanding hearing and fighting deafness. From human genetics to cognition, biophysics to cell biology and bench to clinic, our interdisciplinary approach ensures that research at the Ear Institute remains at the cutting edge.
The Ear Institute is ideally placed as part of UCL Medical School; one of the largest medical schools in Europe, and being situated next door to the Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital; the main post grad training hospital for ENT in the UK and the home of the first ever Cochlear Implant team in the UK.
