TYKES

The TYKES (originally known as The Young Keystone EntertainerS) are a group of young performers and theatre makers who meet to learn about and produce theatre, while also having a great time with friends.

We aim to cover all aspects of theatre with our young people and will bring in experts in some fields if we are unable to provide the necessary expertise ourselves.

TYKES will produce at least two major productions a year plus opportunities will exist to audition for Teignmouth Players pantomimes and productions.

The TYKES have an enviable reputation for excellence built up over the past 30 years.

TYKES meet at the following times on Friday’s during term times

Junior group – ages 7 to 11 approx – 4:15pm to 5:45pm

Intermediate group – ages 11 to 14 approx. – 5:45pm to 7:15pm

Senior group – ages over 14 to 18+ – 7:30pm to 9pm
