I am a fully qualified, professional biology teacher with 14 years’ teaching experience. Most recently, I spent 7 years as Head of Careers and Teacher of Biology at Bradford Girls’ Grammar School, where I particularly enjoyed teaching and preparing the GCSE and A-Level Biologists for their written examinations and ISA’s. Prior to that I was Head of Biology at Adams’ Grammar School, a boys’ selective boarding school in Shropshire.

I love teaching especially on an individual or small group level where students find they can improve on their weaknesses very quickly once they have been identified. Tutoring is very rewarding for both me and the tutees. Tutees gain significant confidence in their own abilities prior to their Biology examinations. I am an approachable, friendly tutor with a wealth of knowledge regarding examination techniques.

I am currently tutoring students from many of the local secondary schools including Ilkley Grammar, St. Mary’s Menston, Bradford Grammar, Bradford Girls’ Grammar, Guiseley, Skipton Girls’, Ermysted’s and Giggleswick.
