Terence James Turnbull and Gareth Thomas have launched a furniture business with the aim of helping discerning customers create their perfect home.

Their combined career backgrounds and business knowledge makes them well-suited to offering exceptional customer service.

Terence has a meticulous attention to detail thanks to 24 years’ service in the Armed forces where he forged a formidable reputation as a distribution, re-supply and logistics expert.

The Military has a proud tradition of excellence in all of its procedures and Terence has adopted a similar attitude of trust, honour and commitment in civilian life. He also has a wealth of retail experience, which most recently has included four years as the general manager of a major online furniture retailer.

Gareth Thomas is an established entrepreneur employing 38 people at a Teesside manufacturing firm. His interest in setting up a home furnishings business was prompted when he built his own house.

Gareth used the very best materials to construct his dream property, but struggled to find furniture with the style and flair and the level of quality to match its high standard.

This sparked an ambition to use his entrepreneurial abilities and knowledge to open a business to fill this gap in the market. This has been achieved with the launch of Turnbull and Thomas in partnership with Terence Turnbull.
