Decorated in vintage style, with dainty china tea sets and lace tablecloths, ceiling chandeliers, pearls and flowers, pretty shabby chic furniture, carefully placed antiques and beautiful pastel interior, Trudy Scrumptious offers a blissful retreat from the hustle and bustle of this popular historic city. Our elegant attention to detail in every aspect is what sets us apart from the rest, making our tea room truly special.

Our counter is full of delightful homemade cakes, delicious tea cake and all butter scones. Breakfast offers the traditional – bacon and egg sandwich, much loved eggy bread and bacon to scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The lunch fare is all homemade and served with bread freshly delivered every day from our local bakery – soups, deliciously filled Paninis, toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes and sandwiches, crispy salads, gluten free food and our most popular dish; the traditional ploughman’s served with Shropshire blue, apple wood, cheddar cheeses, crusty bread, sliced gammon ham, pickles and a selection of chutneys. Our three-tiered traditional Afternoon Tea is a feast for the eyes and our Award Winning Birchall tea is of the finest quality as is the complex blend our coffee sourced from around the world served in our cafeteria.
