Trevean Farm

Our Red Devon cattle, raised on our 130 hectare marginal coastal farm, help to produce an ecologically rich mosaic of habitats across the heath and farmland. They are raised to high animal welfare standards (Soil Association), and are amongst the tastiest of beef breeds, providing rich, well- marbled meat – the foodies’ choice! Our beef is also hung for 2 weeks to improve the flavour.

Low intensively managed grass-fed beef farms are Carbon sequestrating systems. The Trevean herd is fed almost exclusively from feed produced on the farm – You can buy our beef with a clean conscience!

We also provide in-season salad leaves and vegetables (as well as some of our beef) to the Gurnard's Head (in Zennor) and Cafe Dog and Rabbit (in St Just).We supply the Dog and Rabbit exclusively with free-range eggs too.
