These bags are all handmade, by me, and prices reflect not only the cost of materials, but also the time it takes me to make them :) I sit in the space under the stairs and cut, and sew, and press, and sew, and cut, and press, and sew...and so on! I entered the world of sewing via a donated and very beautiful old Novum machine (now sadly no longer with us :( ) and a lesson from a very dear friend in how to make handles stick out the right way, and I was quickly hooked!

I sew in the spaces of time around working in a nursery with many precious little darlings, running, acting in local theatre, reading, and being with my offspring and chief mess-maker, Mikey and my cat and supervisor, Bobbins.
