Thorn Cottage

Thorn Cottage is a detached, thatched, granite cottage located in the quiet hamlet of Thorn, about 2km from the lovely village of Chagford, in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park. It is a grade II listed building.

The cottage comfortably accommodates up to 6 people, in 3 bedrooms which are finished with luxury duvets, pillows and linen. Dogs are also welcome downstairs, and the surrounding countryside offers beautiful walking opportunities, from the open moor to sheltered, wooded valleys.

As well as the bedrooms, the cottage has 2 bathrooms (one upstairs with bath, one downstairs with shower). The large sitting room has an open fireplace, making for a warm and cosy feeling, whilst the spacious dining room is fitted with a wood burning stove. Outside, there are small gardens around the cottage and a large meadow to play in. The meadow has a summerhouse and a large lined pond.

The cottage is available for holidays year-round, with weekly prices varying from £530 to £1240 depending on season. Short breaks are available in low season and at short notice when available in peak season.
