The Acoustic Couch

The Acoustic Couch (TAC) is a café and community centre by day and licensed music venue by night. As a Social Enterprise it is a profit-making venture that returns value to the community through a low cost music venue and music production facility, job creation, apprenticeship opportunities and as a local arts hub for musicians, writers and dramatists.

Incorporating a live music stage, recording studio and a creative writing venue, it will provide revenue generating facilities not publicly available elsewhere in the borough.

TAC is looking to raise funding through corporate donations, social funding and grants to enable the project.

The Acoustic Couch will provide a music centred creative arts venue that is a comfortable and safe environment for all ages to enjoy. A modern day Community Centre.

Through music, fellowship and friendship and a great service offering The Acoustic Couch will become the centre of music, artistic and creative projects in the area. It will provide facilities for artists to learn, produce and perform.
There will be a creative writing space, a recording studio, a live stage with sound and lighting. all be subtly set within a café/licensed bar.

Located in Bracknell and with premises offered for lease through Bracknell Council’s regeneration programme, Bracknell Centre is about to get a bold new artistic venue.
