Hello and welcome, my name is Joanna.
I am a proud mother of twins, an experienced, practicing midwife,clinical hypnotherapist and hypnobirthing professional. I am also the lead midwife for multiples.
I feel passionate that it is a woman’s right to have a positive birth experience. With my knowledge and experience as a midwife and a qualified hypnotherapist, I will provide you and your birth partner with all the tools and techniques to feel confident and look forward to the birth. So any fears or anxieties are gone and you can really enjoy your pregnancy and look forward to the birth.
I believe that today due to many influencing factors, women are often fearful of their birth experience. The wise hippo is for all women, whether you are a first time mother, expecting twins or more or had babies before. I use techniques and tools in the form of hypnobirthing and birth preparation to help you to understand the connection between your mind and their body. You will learn how to RELAX emotionally and physically. These are tools for life not just for your birth. The Wise Hippo Programme is accredited by Royal College of Midwives.
