The Volunteer

The Volunteer has a rich history and the current owner, Gary Graham, lived there as a youngster, whilst his parents owned it. The Volunteer is a traditional pub, which still has weekly mens' and ladies darts and pool teams, along with poker nights, which adds to its popularity. Regular live bands always draw in a huge crowd and music is always played, even on quieter days. The Volunteer is a family run pub with a refurbished south facing garden, so children and dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a lead. The dogs that is!
