The Vintage Tool Shop is based in Northumberland, North-East England, we specialize in a vast array of old, antique and collectable tools.

A large variety of tools stocked, crossing over the many disciplines within woodwork, from joinery to woodturning and everything inbetween.

Planes, chisels, drawknives, billhooks, spirit levels, measuring, marking and many other woodworking or carpentry tools.

I’m a collector myself, some items within stock come from my own collection.
I came to collecting vintage hand tools at an early age, mainly influenced by my grandfather who was a foreman carpenter/joiner for many years.

My interest and passion for old tools and the working practices in their use, led to me training as a carpenter/joiner myself with particular interest in heritage work.
