The True Lovers Knot

The True Lovers Knot is a traditional country pub, located in the idyllic village of Tarrant Keyneston and surrounded by stunning countryside.

With a civil wedding licence we are now proud to host wedding ceremonies and receptions throughout the year, with the added benefit of 4 luxury en-suite rooms and a caravan and a campsite.

The menu offers a choice of delicious lunchtime and evening meals, which can be enjoyed in the relaxed and informal open-plan dining areas or outside in our large garden overlooking the fields beyond. Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout the pub, and in our b&b rooms by prior arrangement.

We also offer outside catering: weddings, parties and all occasions catered for. We are a reliable and flexible, family-run business with years of experience in catering and functions. No event is too big or small. We have several styles of marquee from the traditional to the capri style marquee, both of various sizes. We have a full marquee set up for hire including a handmade wooden bar, choice of carpets, linen, tables, chairs, lining and chandelier lighting as well as a disco.

At the True Lovers Knot we specialise in elegant wedding celebrations. Chris and his team are very experienced in creating unique wedding celebrations tailored to make the day perfect for you. From the menu to decorations, we can cater for every aspect of your day and can be involved in the preparation as much or as little as you would like.

We are very proud to offer an extensive gluten-free menu at The True Lovers Knot. Our menu is a delightful combination of traditional homemade dishes together with more inspired, seasonal dishes to suit the more discerning customers. There is something for everyone. All our produce is fresh and locally sourced. All our meat is from the Tarrant Valley, some even from Preston Farm which is literally over the road! The pork is free-range and organic from Honeybrook Farm near Wimborne, and the game is from Shapwick just 2 miles away and lamb is from the Blackmore Vale area within 10 miles from us. Our head chef and the team are committed to producing the highest quality dishes, using the finest local and seasonal ingredients.
