The Swallows Day Care Centre

The Swallows provides high quality comprehensive day care. It comprises a family sized bungalow with an attractive garden.
We offer an enjoyable day out with a wide choice of activities in comfortable and spacious surroundings, whilst ensuring your personal care needs are met at all times.

At the Swallows you will be able to socialize, participate in games and activities as well as meet new friends, providing both entertainment and new experiences for you as well as respite for your family / carer.

We maintain a high “staff to member” ratio ensuring that our members receive the personal care and social interaction they need, including providing 1 to 1, or even 2 care staff to 1 member support as required.

A two course home cooked lunch, with alternatives, is served daily and is prepared by our experienced cook on the premises. Refreshments, such as tea, coffee and juice as well as home baked cakes and biscuits are available throughout the day. We also provide assisted bathing, chiropody and hairdressing if requested.

We support carers with regular feed back and advice on their loved one attending our service and provide comfort when needed. We host monthly Carers' Coffee Mornings in which we will listen to carers' concerns and try and recommend solutions to their problems or offer to explore further information.

All our staff are fully qualified in health and social care and have a clean record with the Disclosure and Barring Service. We ensure that all staff are up-to-date with their regular mandatory training, such as first aid, manual handling, health & safety, safeguarding of vulnerable adults, food & basic hygiene, medication, etc. Adult Day Care Ltd. is an accredited provider to Norfolk County Council Adult Social Services and enjoys a top rating in complying with all required quality standards.
