The Spread Eagle Pub & Theatre

Now one of the best pubs in Croydon, The Spread Eagle was originally the Croydon branch of the Union Bank of London; built in 1893 - and operated as a financial institution for more than a century. Not much has changed though - you're still welcome to deposit your money here - and truth be told the returns are better! Invest a little of your time with us!

Founded in October 2013, The Spread Eagle Theatre is part of a Grade II listed building situated next to the Croydon Clock Tower right in the heart of Croydon town centre. This beautiful building is home to a 50 seat studio theatre and is perfect for intimate performances.

The Spread Eagle Theatre has a variety of productions all year round, with a mix of co-productions and visiting companies.
